Playdough

Just Like the Real Playdough (so they say)

1 cup flour
1 cup water
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon powdered alum
1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons vanilla food coloring

Mix all dry ingredients. Add oil and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until reaching the consistency of mashed potatoes. Remove from heat and add vanilla and food coloring. Divide into balls and work in color by kneading the playdough.

Seriously, I think i've had enough.
Dorian and Arriannah loving the playdough

Dorian has been playing non stop with his playdough and shows no signs of wanting to stop. it's been 1 1/2 hours now and all his colors are mixed together so he's just left with this brownish green stuff and he's making lizards and snakes. (TOTAL BOY!)

So tonight instead of watching the superbowl, I worked for a co-worker who wasn't feeling well, and in return she watched my son. She also has a daughter 6 months younger then Dorian. They have been playing together since they were just babes! They get a long like brother and sister actually. Tonight, Kit sent me the above pictures and the recipe for playdough that I thought I would share with all of you for a rainy day when you need something to keep your kids busy and in one spot.
